Intel 200s boost to use or not to use.

I’ve recently built a new PC based on the ultra core 7K processor and an Asrock Z890 Steel Legend WiFi. 32 gb Crucial 6000 ddr5, Having updated Bios I can see it’s added Intel 200s Boost. I’m not really into overlocking. I prefer stability over performance. At the moment it’s set to disabled. Should I enable the setting? If so, I have 3 choices, profile one profile two or non-XMP mode.
I am currently using XMP mode but for RAM only, which came with an older bios.
Should I use Intel 200s boost or leave disabled? Thanks

Hello Starlight,

Thank you for posting on Intel Community Forum.

It appears that you'd like to know whether to enable Intel 200s boost on your system. 200S Boost is an overclocking profile designed for unlocked Intel Core Ultra 200S Series processors (e.g., Intel® Core™ Ultra 7 265K) when paired with compatible Intel Z890 motherboards and appropriate Intel XMP memory modules (DIMMs).

This allows users to achieve higher fabric, die-to-die, and memory frequencies, resulting in a performance boost for low-latency workloads like gaming. In addition to potential performance gains, eligible Intel Core Ultra 200S series processors will retain the three-year limited warranty provided by Intel.

Enabling Intel 200S Boost can be a great option in terms of performance gains but if you value stability over performance, you may want to keep it disabled to avoid any possible issues such as system instability as it can lead to higher power consumption and thermal output.
