I want to buy the Intel 6600K and I'm not sure whether it can use normal ddr3 ram because it says that it supports DDR3L and DDR4 I'm trying to keep a low budget i am going to get the asus b150m to save myself the trouble of buying DDR4 RAM so can the 6600K support Normal ddr3 ram

Hi Ghosalc01,

 

 

As you said before, yes the Intel® Core™ i5-6600K Processor only supports DDR4-1866/2133, DDR3L-1333/1600 (1.35V); as soon as you use compatible RAM, you shouldn't have any issue.
