Intel Core i5 12450H doesn't work on max frequency

Hi. i have a gaming laptop i bought a month ago. And my CPU does not work at the maximum frequency of 4.4Ghz, even in processes that require it. Instead, it runs at 4092 Ghz. the maximum frequency still appears, but only for a couple of seconds, and not in all games. I use my rig for gaming so this is frustrating. Could it be motherboard related? maybe I got a bad part?

4.4GHz is your processor's Maximum Turbo Boost frequency. You are only going to see boosting to this frequency when (amongst other things) your processor has the thermal headroom and only a single core is active. If (amongst other things) the processor is too hot or more than one Core is active, the maximum frequency possible will be lower.
