Hi, this is my first post here. I'm having some hard time trying to figure out if my processor drivers needs to be updated. I have an "Intel® Core™ i7-9700 CPU @ 3.00GHz", when I see the date from the drivers in Device manager, it says that my drivers versions are from 21/04/2009. I tried to search for drivers here, but it says that there is no update for this processor or either it says that it isn't possible to update it.
I use my PC for games mostly and I'm having some problems running heavier games like "Elden Ring" for example, I'm getting some FPS drops when there's lots of details in-game. I have 3 things that may be the problem. Overheating, GPU related problems from my RTX 2060, I updated it's drivers yesterday and Processor related problems like I'm saying here.
Sorry if all of this just sound dumb, I'm not that good with hardware related things. I'm sorry in advance. thank you!!

There is no "processor" driver.
You can update your motherboard bios, your video card, and your other device drivers, and you can re-apply your thermal paste. You can also check your cpu fan, and case fans to ensure proper ventilation.
Doc (not an Intel employee or contractor)
[If you find any Intel driver you might need, download and save it now.]
