If I check the installation history, there is an error message Installation failed with error code 1000.
Any suggestion how to fix it?

When did the issue start? Was it after a specific update?
What are the troubleshooting steps that you tried so far?
Can you please provide me a screenshot of the error?
Is the Intel NPU driver the only issue?
Have you tried uninstalling the NPU driver and use the IDSA?
Additionally, to gain a comprehensive understanding of your system, please use the System Support Utility (SSU). This tool will generate a text file compiling all your system information. Hi Archie,
The issue start after installing the NPU Driver listed at the IDSA website.
I uninstall the NPU driver, and choose clean uninstall. Reinstall it again, Uninstall it, and reinstall it again.
Yes for now only intel NPU
Yes, several times. And just for your information, sometimes I cannot click any button at the Intel DSU page, so I tricked it to go other page and return to the page and it will work.
Please find attached the SSU and the screenshot of the error message.

Thank you for the update. Please follow these steps to address the issue:
- On the IDSA scan page, click "Refresh Results" located in the left-hand menu.
- Clear your browser cache by pressing Shift + F5, then attempt to rescan using IDSA.
- If the issue persists, verify that both the Intel® DSA Service and Intel® DSA Updater service are running. To do this, open Windows Search, type "Services," and locate Intel(R) Driver & Support Assistant. Ensure the status for both services is "Running." If not, right-click on the service and select "Start" to initiate it.
Additionally, check for any pending Windows updates by navigating to Windows -> Settings -> Updates -> Security. If your system hasn't been restarted recently, consider doing so. You can check the system's uptime by opening Task Manager, going to the Performance tab, selecting CPU, and viewing the Up Time displayed in days/hours/minutes/second's format.

I believe the error 1000 issue is caused by the Current NPU version number is the same as the New NPU version number.

Sorry for the late response. As per today, Intel DSA already indicated no new driver, although in the history it still said the last installation is error 1000. But for now we can close it. Thank you
