Intel E5700 LGA 775 - Compatibility

Can somebody suggest me whether Intel Pentium Processor E5700 3GHz, 2MB Cache LGA775, 6500 is compatible with ASUS P5G41T-MLX3 Motherboard.

Hi,

I checked on Asus compatibility chart for their P5G41T-M LX* (click http://www.asus.com/Motherboards/Intel_Socket_775/P5G41TM_LX/# CPUS here) and noticed the http://ark.intel.com/Product.aspx?id=42801&code=Intel%C2%AE+Pentium%C2%AE+Processor+E5700+%282M+Cache%2c+3.00+GHz%2c+800+MHz+FSB%29 Intel(R) Pentium(R) Processor for Desktop E5700 is currently listed as compatibile as long as the BIOS version is 0602, at least.

As for "6500", if you rather mean the http://ark.intel.com/Product.aspx?id=42805 Intel(R) Pentium(R) Processor for Desktop E6500, I confirm it is also shown as compatible, with BIOS version 0301, as minimum.

I'd still suggest contacting either your place of purchase or Asus for more information regarding the board, its general compatibility and features.

* Note: They don't list 'P5G41T-M LX3', per se.
