Hi massno,
I'm sorry to hear about the issues you're experiencing with your audio. As we are not the manufacturer of your laptop, we can only provide generic recommendations since we don't have specific details about the "Intel High Definition DSP" implementation in your device. Based on your comments, it seems you have already tried these general steps:
- Check Your Sound Settings: Go to your computer's sound settings and manually adjust audio options like volume, speaker configuration, and microphone settings as needed.
- Update Drivers: Ensure you have the latest drivers for your Intel Audio device installed. You can usually find them on the HP support website or the Intel website.
- Reinstall Drivers: If updating doesn't resolve the issue, try uninstalling and reinstalling the audio drivers completely.
- Check for BIOS Updates: Sometimes, updating your BIOS can help with compatibility issues related to hardware detection.
Given that these steps have not resolved the issue, I recommend contacting HP support for further assistance. They will have more specific knowledge about your device and can provide more targeted help.
Regards,
Ronny G
