Intel I9 7900X detect as i7 7900x

Hello, i installed an intel i9 7900X proccessor

in Asus TUF X299

but in the bios and windows detect it as i7 7900X

 

i see many review in youtube about I9 7900X and 90% video i see is detect as i7 7900X

 

can someone explain me about that ?

This is indeed a strange issue. I want to makes sure I will be able to identify your CPU first, kindly please send us the ATPO located on the outside edge of the CPU.

Kindly also please run the following in your system so we can better understand your current setup: https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/download/18377/intel-system-support-utility-for-windows.html. Once you do , please send us the logs.
