Hello,

I am wondering what can happen if there is a broken pin or a bent pin in LGA1151 socket ? The computer will still work or there will appear problems ?

Also, I am interested to know what can happen if two pin in the socket are shorted (shortcircuit) ?

Broken or bent pins, regardless of the number, is very bad. You should not use this socket or motherboard.

A short circuit is even worse. The likelihood of damage to the rest of the motherboard is very real.

Short answer - do not use the motherboard if the socket has bent, broken, or shorted pins. Do not insert your processor, as doing so can cause further damage.
