Intel Management Engine driver update

My PC is unable to open files, folders and websites. It is redirecting me to home page /screen.

From Windows Event Viewer I am getting a particular warning:

“A provider, IntelMEProv, has been registered in the Windows Management Instrumentation namespace root\Intel_ME to use the LocalSystem account. This account is privileged and the provider may cause a security violation if it does not correctly impersonate user requests.”

So, I tried to update - Intel ME driver but no update for ME is provided by my service provider (ASUS), for my motherboard (X421EA)

So please help me to resolve this issue asap.

It's called the Intel Converged Security and Management Engine (CSME) Driver. Here's the link to the latest: https://dlcdnets.asus.com/pub/ASUS/nb/Image/Driver/Chipset/33765/MEI_Consumer_DCH_Intel_Z_V2220.3.1.0_33765.exe?model=S433EA

Hope this helps,

Hello Aryan1,

Greetings!

To address the issues you're experiencing, I recommend visiting the ASUS support website. Please update your BIOS and drivers, specifically the chipset and Intel Management Engine (ME).

Updating these components can often resolve many issues.

Best regards,

Vijay N.
