Intel Processor Thermal Capacitance and Thermal Resistance

Hi,

I am in process of technical writing. I am not an electrical engineer.

  1. I need a general information about how to calculate the thermal resistance and thermal capacitance of an Intel processor in general. Are these calculations possible with the online information about processors available publicly ?
  2. Do the thermal resistance and thermal capacitance change according to the load on processor / the frequency of processor ?
  3. If so, how much is the change and how to calculate ?

Hi tayyab, we provide some technical information in the datasheet documents for every processor family; however, it will be better to know the specific processor model or family you are inquiring about since this information is usually not publicly available but we can verify depending on such model or family of products.
