I am having the i7-3610QM for the Clevo/Sager machine.

I have just installed Windows 8 x64 for the machine right after SSD installation.

the install went just fine, the software ran fine for about half of a week before it stop working totally and now i can't get it show it faces back up.

If i run it from the desktop, the process of it will run in the background and will do nothing, and only visible through Task manager.

So any one here have any suggestion? I have already try uninstall and reinstall, reboot at each step but it just doesn't work.

Please advise, thanks!

Hello amraam_missiles,

For troubleshooting purposes what you may want to do is confirm/determine the processor is not having problems. You can first try all the troubleshooting recommendations having the Intel® Turbo Boost Technology Monitor uninstalled.

For this matter, please make sure the latest BIOS version of your motherboard is installed in order to have loaded the latest micro code available for your processor, for a proper recognition of it.

Also, feel free running the Intel® Processor Identification Utility to see how the processor is being recognized by the system: http://downloadcenter.intel.com/SearchResult.aspx?lang=eng&ProductFamily=Processors&ProductLine=Processor+Utilities&ProductProduct=Intel%C2%AE+Processor+Identification+Utility&OSVersion=Windows+8* http://downloadcenter.intel.com/SearchResult.aspx?lang=eng&ProductFamily=Processors&ProductLine=Processor+Utilities&ProductProduct=Intel%C2%AE+Processor+Identification+Utility&OSVersion=Windows+8*

Furthermore, you may want to run the Intel® Processor Diagnostic Tool to verify the processor's functionality: http://www.intel.com/support/processors/sb/CS-031726.htm http://www.intel.com/support/processors/sb/CS-031726.htm

After the previous, you may proceed installing the Intel® Turbo Boost Technology Monitor: http://downloadcenter.intel.com/Detail_Desc.aspx?agr=Y&DwnldID=19105&keyword=turbo+boost&DownloadType=Utilities%2c+Tools+and+Examples&lang=eng http://downloadcenter.intel.com/Detail_Desc.aspx?agr=Y&DwnldID=19105&keyword=turbo+boost&DownloadType=Utilities%2c+Tools+and+Examples&lang=eng

If this does not work, best option would be proceeding with a fresh installation of the Operating System. You can also contact the customer support department for further assistance on the processor: http://www.intel.com/p/en_US/support/contactsupport http://www.intel.com/p/en_US/support/contactsupport
