Intel Xeon Phi on a home desktop system

Is it possible to install a new Intel Xeon Phi coprocessor on a home desktop system with Core i7 processor to boost video encoding or some data decrypting for example? Does software allow it?

The product in question is not under production yet; it will be launched on January. Information on future product releases gets available until the actual product launch. However, most likely this processor will be only compatible with Intel(R) Xeon based systems.
