I want to build a system with an Intel i5-750 CPU and motherboard with H55 chipset.
I do not do gaming. Would I need to install a video card since the i5-750 does not have built in graphics? I have a digital monitor (DVI).
Thanks for any input.

Yes you will need a video card for the i5-750 on a H55.

Is there any motherboard that will work with I5-750 without a video card?

If you run the Desktop Processors and Desktop Boards Compatibility Tool you will find all desktop board compatible with the I5-750 processor. The following board (aside from P55) have the Intel Graphics Technology support: DQ57TM, DH55TC, and DH55HC with the last two using H55 chipset. However, as PeterUK has pointed out the I5-750 needs a discrete video graphics card to be installed.
