Intel i7 2630qm cpu core problem

Hi,

Intel i7 2630qm processors Specifications (4 cores and 8 threads). My Lenovo y570 i7 2630qm processors pc (2 cores and 4 threads ). I don't understand.

Help please.

I would suggest running the Intel® Processor Identification Utility, this tool will properly recognize the processor.

If this tool reports the right processor information, then it means that the processor is OK, and the issue would be operating system related.

If that is the case, we suggest contacting the laptop manufacturer for further assistance, a clean installation of the operating system might be needed.
