Firmware are complex today. The more the complex they are the quicker are growing errors inside a system. So the solution to Intel stability problems will be to disconnect system from power once a week. Or make some automated system in power supply that does it once a week or when possible.

Normally you should address those firmware hardware errors over long periods of time for future more complex products.
