Intel turbo boost technology working on k series

Does intel turbo boost technology work automatically without overclocking in i5-12600 k 

My question is that the base clock speed for the i5-12600k is 3.7 Ghz and the maximum clock speed is 4.9Ghz, the question is if I don't overclock manually will the processor use the turbo boost technology automatically under load and increase the clock speed to 4.9 Ghz or the 4.9 Ghz works only with manual overclocking. Please guide me your guidance will be highly appreciated.
