International Warranty - USA to India

https://www.reddit.com/r/intel/comments/9vu2nt/is_intels_warranty_international/ - This user said that these 3 countries are not eligible for the international warranty, however upon checking the website does not include India (https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/support/articles/000005862/processors.html). I would just like to check if I will be able to claim a warranty from India after buying the processor in the USA. For details :

I will be buying the processor in mid-May from Micro Center in Boston, and will be taking it back to India in June, will this processor be eligible for an international warranty? Please let me know.

I would appreciate it if anyone replying could also give me a link to the article where they're referencing the information, so I have clear-cut evidence that international warranty is or is not applicable in India

Hi, Blaze_Rav.

Thank you for reaching out to our Community. Intel's warranty is generally considered international, but there are specific terms and conditions that apply based on the region and product type. To provide accurate information, could you confirm the exact processor model you intend to purchase? Certain models may have different warranty policies.

Have a nice day!

Hello, Blaze_Rav.

The official Intel warranty page does not explicitly list India as excluded from international warranty coverage. Therefore, it is likely that your processor will be eligible for warranty service in India, provided it meets the warranty terms and conditions.

For the most accurate and up-to-date information, you can visit the Intel Warranty Center or contact Intel's customer support in India. You may also visit our Intel article links below for more informations.

Thanks, I will confirm once with Intel Support India

Could you send me the e-mail ID for their support as in my experience their call center is barely audible

Or if there is a chat with agent option I will opt for that.

Thanks for replying so quickly as possible and giving me relevant information.

I received your email earlier and I appreciate your update. I’m glad to hear that Intel India has confirmed the international warranty.
