Laptop intel turbo boost

Hello , today I realized that my battery decided to not charge anymore , it goes to 100 then disconnects , I disconnected the battery from the motherboard , but now my cpu won't boost , it stays at 2.5GHz , I have a 7300hq , what can I do?

Get a new battery.

Who knows...  I have seen many issues regarding batteries and how they are integreated.  Your laptop would not happen to be a lenovo, would it? 

Regardless, check with the laptop manufacturer.  You may also want to make sure your bios is updated.

I have a acer aspire a715-71g , and I have the latest bios update

Ok, you need to work with acer regarding the battery.

I've tried everything they said and the battery is doing the same thing , my problem is with the intel turbo , my cpu don't boost anymore .

Wow, that was fast.  And, did you try a new battery?

I haven't tried it , I tried what they said to reset the battery to recalibrate it , I am going to try a new battery.
