Laptop reaches 100 ° C

Hello,

I recently downloaded the demo of FIFA 17 to evaluate the performance of my laptop. The game works well, does not show any kind of lag or defect, but I noticed that immediately after the start of the game, the laptop becomes louder and the temperature rises.Through a program I noticed that the CPU temperature reaches about 90 ° and how to tip maximum 100 ° C even during the phase of the game, while usually (as I browse, watch movies) runs on 50-60 and maximum 70.My pc mounts an i7 5500U processor @ 2.40GHz, an Intel HD 5500 card and I bought it last year.

How can I lower the temperature during the game? Is it bad to play at this temperature?

Sorry for my English

Hello Guastaferro:

In regard to your inquiry, actually that temperature value is expected for a mobile processor, the T-junction on this processor is 105°C, so, the laptop depending on the load of work could reach that value and that is normal.

When a laptop gets overheated the first symptoms are that it will start freezing, it will start to throttling and then it will go off by itself, in this case none of that is happening and that means it is working fine.

On the following link, you will be able to confirm the T-junction of the processor:

For further details about this matter you can also get in contact directly with the manufacturer of the laptop.

Any questions, please let me know.
