Looking for replacement for obsolete CPU

In one of our products we use a COM-Express (type 2) computer module, but we have learned that the (socketed) CPU has gone obsolete.

The obsolete CPU is Intel T7400 / LF80537GF0484M SL9SE.

I need to find a 100% compatible pin for pin drop-in replacement for this processor. It's OK for the replacement to have a higher clock speed and more processing cores but preferably should not use considerably more electrical power.

I have not been able to locate any information for replacing this CPU online.

The information given by Doc is correct.

I would recommend you checking with the laptop manufacture for further assistance since this is an OEM system and sometimes this kind of modifications are supported or cannot be done.
