However this should not be seen as an endorsement of what the system would be able to support. Only the motherboard manufacturer or the Original Equipment Manufacturer (on OEM systems) would be able to tell if a given processor will be compatible on a specific system. There are things like microcode and BIOS, that will limit the compatibility of a processor and a motherboard.
