Intel published a table of Guidance for power options in the motherboard bios, since they basically ran unlocked ar 4095W ( short duration turbo power) and over 400Amps (max core/cache current )
What are the values for the 12th gen family i5, i7 and i9?
Latest motherboard ASUS I have (B760M-Plus) with latest bios don't have intel's recommendation values

Hi nommeez,
Thank you for posting in the communities!
To answer your inquiry, the guidance for power delivery is intended for the processors experiencing instability issues such as the 13th and 14th gen processors as stated on the link: June 2024 Guidance regarding Intel Core 13th and 14th Gen K/KF/KS instability reports - Intel Community
For the 12th gen processors, you can check the product specifications on the link below:
12th Gen Intel® Core™ Desktop Processor Product Brief
Checking on your motherboard (ASUS B760M-Plus), I think they already release the Intel recommendations and also the BIOS Microcode on their latest BIOS version.

Let me know if you have other concerns.
