If I upgrade the processor in my laptop from T6400 to a Q9100 do I need to upgrade the ram as well?

Only if you feel you need to, the amount of RAM is indapendent to the spec of CPU

I wanted to know if the difference in the FSB speed 800 Mhz vs. 1066 Mhz would cause any problems.
