Q9450 Core temperature variations

Hi,

I recently installed a q9450 and immediately noticed a 15 degree (celcius) variation between 2 cores.

i.e. 30/45/45/30. (core temp/real temp etc.)

I have removed the HSf and reapplied as5 tim and still no difference even after a week or so.

The temps although slightly lower still have a 15 degree variation.

The cpu is a c1 stepping.

Is there any case for concern?

Thanks in advance

I would guess it is a misreading... simply because on something so small and with teh cores so close, it would be impossible for there to be such a difference. In terms of is it a problem... not particualry it's not going to damage you CPU or hinder performance..
