Real or Fake CPU : i7-4790T

I want to upgrade my cpu from i3 to i7.  My motherboard socket is an old one which only allows LGA1150 socket.  I ordered one, i.e. i7-4790T, from a web seller.  However after installing it, my PC could not boot up.

Here attached are the photos of my purchased i7-4790T cpu image.  Would anyone post the pic of a real i7-4790T cpu (front and back)?

You are premature in thinking it is a processor issue.  What you need to do first is to ask the motherboard manufacturer if their bios supports the i7-4790T.

The processor looks correct in that first picture. Not sure who put the label on the back (not Intel) - but it does point to it being a used processor.

Al is correct; the first thing you should have checked is whether the processor is on your motherboard's supported processor list.
