Hi there...
I recently discovered a strange situation with my cpu temperature:
The core 1-3 temperature is always much more higher than 2-4 one.
Sometimes the difference is almost 10°!
I'm using the boxed cpu version with Intel fan.
Is that normal??
Thank you in advance

Hi,
where are you getting the temps from? Did you use the thermal paste that was on the intel fan?
If so i would think it is more liekly to be a misreading...

thanks for the quick reply...
I use Real Temp (latest) to check temp.
I also think is very very strange.
The thermal paste is the intel one, never touched it.
I remember something now:
I bought hardware (cpu-MB etc...) last june.
First motherboard sent me, was damaged.
I sent it back and they gave me a new one.
In this way i assembled the cpu twice..on the first (damaged) and the second working one.
I never though to replace the thermal paste, as the cpu and fan were tha same.
Is it possible that by doing this the paste is not homogeneusly "spalmed"??
That could maybe explain...even if it sounds strange...

Yep that could be the issue, only way of finding out though would be to take the fan off and have a look
