Swap a i5-4460 for an i7-4790K processor question.

I would like to replace my i5-4760 with an i7-4790K on my C1B85M LGA1150 DDR3 motherboard. Will I need to reset or update my 11KT38AUS 6-10-14 BIOS? Will I encounter any special setup problems or considerations?

You need to ask the system/motherboard manufacturer what processors THEIR BIOS can use.  Then, you can select from those.
