Sorry, but no. It is a Intel® Pentium® Processor T4400, Intel(R) Core(TM) 2 Duo is a different processor family, this does not reflect the number of cores, the name is basically an identification of the family.
Your processor does have 2 cores but it will not go in to the Intel(R) Core(TM) 2 Duo processor family.

I disagree completly!!! it is all about marketing! and if you look at the link i provided in the top left corner you have the core 2 image and the name of the CPU is pentium! If you want to talk about families, it's family is Montevina!!!! Regarding the pentium/core 2, the big difference is hyperthreading. IF there is no HT, then they nae it a pentium. It is the same with the new G9650... same die and what not as the I5s, it is still a clarkdale...but called a pentium because it has not HT!

You are part right in your comments. The Pentium version of a Core 2 Duo CPU is the same core other than the cache size and the FSB speed. A Wolfdale C2D may have 4MB cache and a FSB of 1066MHz. A Wolfdale Pentium may have 1MB cache and a FSB of 800MHz.
