Turbo Boost Technology Monitor not working on Lenovo W530 / Windows 8

I have installed version 2.6 of turbo boost technology monitor on Windows 8 preview release and I can see it on my desktop, but when I run it, it doesn't open, and eventually says it stopped working. I am running Windows 8 on a Lenovo Thinkpad W530. I have turbo boost enabled in my BIOS.

Since the version of the operating system you have is not an official version we cannot guarantee that all the tools will work on your system.

In a way to work around with your situation I can recommend to contact Lenovo so they can help you to update the BIOS of your laptop and see if that works, if the issue persists after that reinstall the application to see if the behavior change.
