I am trying to open the 13th Generation Intel® Core™ and Intel® Core™ 14th Generation Processors Datasheet, Volume 1 of 2, and my antivirus blocks it saying the document contains threat Script:SNH-gen {Drp}
I was able to open the document PDF from the Intel site link a while back, but it appears something is wrong with the PDF link. Volume 2 of 2 opens fine, but volume 1 of 2 will not. I tried disabling my antivirus, same thing, also tried 2 browsers.
Can anyone else open this document? The document ID shows as 743844 with Date
2024-08-20
This is the page link that I am trying to download from. Scroll down to 13th Gen section.
https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/products/docs/processors/core/core-technical-resources.html
Either my computer is messed up or this document is corrupted up on the Intel site. I hope this has not been disabled on purpose, due to the current 13th and 14th gen processor degradation issue. I wish I had download and saved the PDF when I viewed it a while back.
If anyone can please try?

Any idea on where that would be covered? I can’t imagine Intel would leave out all of the K sku desktop processors, assuming they are on another document or version of this.
My frustration with Intel continues…

I'm frustrated like you with the current Intel's site. I found the following pages mentioning your CPU (probably is what you are looking for):
1. The Specification Page.
2. Product Brief.

Thank you, Leon. There is some good information on these links I will save for reference. I was trying to find the exact detail of settings like the other document ID 743844 has for all of the other non-K processors, but I am pretty sure it does not exist, or Intel has incorrectly excluded the K SKU CPUs.
Long story short, I bought a brand new boxed i9-13900KF as a spare if I ever need it. Hard to tell how much degradation my current CPU has before I got the 12B microcode updated a few days ago. I know I could get an RMA if trouble does begin, but having my spare on hand will keep me from being down if this one fails and I'm stuck waiting for an RMA.
I wanted to review all of the exact specifications to make sure all of the XTU settings I have in place match what the Intel directive says, so I don't damage the new processor if I have to use it. Peace of mind I guess.
I know there are 2 versions of the intel default setting charts that I have seen, different PL values - the charts do not cover all of the other settings etc that should be available for our review. I have a Lenovo Legion high end gaming PC which cost me a boatload of money, and this whole processor disaster is really frustrating. Every time I look at my PC I am reminded that the CPU in it is certainly damaged / degraded, even if only the slightest degree. Not a good feeling with PC OCD
I am just going to sideline my quest for now, I am sure updated documents will come out again soon to reflect the new and final microcode that is out.
Appreciate your help, thank you again!

Hello Andrew,
To my regret I can't help you much in this matter. I can only refer you to Intel engineer @Thomas_Hannaford threads, dealing with this problem:
1. June 2024 Guidance regarding Intel Core 13th and 14th Gen K/KF/KS instability reports
2. Intel Core 13th and 14th Gen Desktop Instability Root Cause Update
Hope this helps
Leon
