Hello, I use a i9 12900k and due to a recent bios update Intel XTU saids “Undervolt Protection” is set to on. Anyway I can turn this off so I can overclock and undervolt again

Contact your motherboard/system manufacturer regarding their bios.

Because you said " due to a recent bios update ".

Contact your motherboard/system manufacturer and ask them about THEIR bios update amd settings..

Also, if your BIOS has implemented undervolt protection, it may be to stop undervolting, which can create a potential security problem.

Again, check with the bios provider.

Ok so I contacted HP and they said in the BIOS there’s a setting called “Extreme Mode Support” I enabled it but Intel XUT still saids Undervolt protection is on

As AlHill said before, you said " due to a recent bios update, undervolt protection shows as ON".

You need to get confirmation from HP (a clear and direct answer) whether they still support or not undervolting on this new BIOS update...

It is not worth trying any other steps if they have actually disabled undervolt in their BIOS...
