Good day I’m new to the forum so please bare with me. I bought a brand new 13700k with a Corsair H150i AIO cooler but I’m Just wondering does under volting void my CPU warranty or is it safeto do an under volt. But from what I’m hearing is that basically if it stays under 100 degrees my CPU should be safe am I correct? I seem to be spiking 85 degrees while gaming thanks.

Hello Eastcoastcanadian_

Thank you for reaching out. I understand your concerns about your CPU and ensuring it stays within safe temperature limits. It's important to make sure your system is running efficiently and reliably.

Kindly answer the following questions:

  • Are you noticing any performance issue while gaming?
  • Have you made any changes to the voltage settings or cooling system?
  • What is your Motherboard?
  • What is your BIOS Version?
  • Is your BIOS Configured to Intel Default Settings?

For more information regarding the Intel Default Settings, please refer to Re: June 2024 Guidance regarding Intel Core 13th and 14th Gen K/KF/KS instability reports - Intel Community

We look forward for your response!

Hello Eastcoastcanadian_,

To get a better understanding of the issue and be able to provide an effective recommendation, please provide the missing key information here:

1) Is the CPU spike only started recently or have you noticed this from out-of-the-box?

2) What application are you using to monitor the CPU spikes?

3) Since you mentioned that the issue only appears when gaming, please share what game/s are running when you observe this behavior.

4) Please download and scan your system with the Intel® Processor Diagnostic Tool. Share a screenshot of the results and the log file. You may check the User Guides.

I will wait for your reply so I can further check.
