This Is just for Information to 7th generation laptop processor users, using Windows 11 and Windows 10 os
I also have Asus Vivobook 15 model R542UQ-DM153
Intel i5-7200U Kaby Lake LP processor.
Intel microcode 0xDE
On 30th August 2024, the latest bios version released by Asus is 311 in 2021
Bios Developed date 09th December 2021
I am using Windows 11 23H2 Enterprise edition build no 222631.4112 Preview.
I flashed firmware 11.8.96.4657 LP on top of 11.8.95.4551 LP.
There are two types of firmware
1. Consumer SKU series
2. Corporate SKU series
Consumer series have two types
1. LP
2. S&H
Firmware I choose Low Power with consumer SKU.
Intel CSME 10.0.1.0 version can be downloaded

I downloaded Intel ME firmware from the site below
Intel Management Engine (ME/AMT) Firmware Version 11.8.96.4657(LP)(1.5&5Mo) (station-drivers.com)
Important Note:
Intel i5-7200U officially does not support Windows 11. But Users can install it manually by modifying the registry key.
Note::
1) Connect UPS to Laptop.
2) Before flashing firmware, please get in touch with the motherboard manufacturer's technical support team and confirm you get the correct firmware only.
3) Flasing incorrect firmware to incompatible Intel processors, the CPU might be bricked or the motherboard may be unusable or bricked.
4) I and the admin of https://www.station-drivers.com/ and the admin of https://community.intel.com/ are not responsible for any proper or improper damages caused by flashing
5) Use your own risk.
