Upgrading Laptop from Core Duo

Hi,

I have Thinkpad T60 1951-43U which has Core Duo T2400 and 945 Express Chipset. I have seen on the part list of T60 that it support Core Duo (Max. T2700) and Core 2 Duo (Max. T5600 and T7600). Since the warranty has been expired, I want to do some upgrading by myself. Is it true that this T60 is comaptible with T7600 ? What is the maximum recomended processor upgrade for this T60 ?

You can upgrade the CPU. But it was difficult to buy.

What do you mean of "difficult" ? I can see some on eBay. What is the highest processor upgrade I can have ?
