Upgrading Processor: NEED HELP!

Hello, So I am looking to update my processor. Right now I have an "Intel Core 2 Duo E8400 @ 3.00GHz" processor in my PC right now. I have a Lenovo (LGA775) motherboard and I want to get a processor that works well with gaming, and that is compatible with my PC. I have a Lenovo ThinkCentre M48p (Type 6209). Thanks!

This is your chipset model; http://ark.intel.com/products/36527 (Intel® 82Q45 Graphics and Memory Controller Hub) Specifications, and based on this model these are the compatible processors http://ark.intel.com/products/36527# @compatibility (Intel® 82Q45 Graphics and Memory Controller Hub) Specifications. However, in this case we strongly recommend contacting the motherboard manufacturer for compatibility information, they should be able to provide a list of the compatible processors for your model.
