Using XTU on Window's 11 to undervolt void warrenty?

Many people have reported having issues with Unreal Engine 5 and crashes with 13th and 14th generation intel core processors. I have a i7 14700k that I'm looking to under volt to resolve the issue. Would using XTU's tool to reduce the core ratio by 2 to 3 points void my current warranty to have it RMA'd if I can't get the crashes to stop? As a side note, I updated Bios already and seems fine so far, only crashed once between games in Fortnite but that's kinda normal. This was a recommendation from Marvel Rivals https://www.marvelrivals.com/guide/20241114/41348_1193677.html

Update: Can now confirm that the crashes are persisting.

Hello Avishy,

Thank you for posting in Intel Communities.

Intel XTU won't allow you to undervolt your system since this software requires the Undervolt Protection (UVP) to be turned on inside the BIOS setup.

Undervolt Protection is a microcode/processor feature that limits voltages from going below a set of voltage minimums, either of the user-defined BIOS value or default in-spec value (whichever is higher). The processor enforces UVP rules and limits, where selected BIOS can disable or change the minimum.

Altering clock frequency or voltage may void any product warranties and reduce stability, security, performance, and life of the processor and other components.

You already updated the BIOS firmware to the latest version, so just make sure to apply the Intel Default Settings. I highly recommend contacting your motherboard manufacturer support to confirm and get assistance on this critical update.

I'll contact you internally to further discuss the issue you've encountered since it is similar to the known instability issue, we had for 13th/14th Gen processors. The reason why I am contacting you internally is because in case that we need to proceed with processing a replacement, I would need to get your personal details.

Best regards,
