XTU 7.14.2.45 doesn't start and I close it with end task,
after a time of 2-3 minutes or more the computer restarts
out of the blue and doesn't boot anymore unless I open the bios and set it
to default values.
Then the computer starts and I try to open xtu again, it opens, I set a profile
and it works until I close it.
When I open it again it starts from the beginning,
the first time xtu doesn't want to start and it restarts.
I also have a dump file but I can't upload it because it exceeds the document
upload limit provided.
I mention that it only does this since I installed the latest version of XTU,
but I also tried older versions that worked normally and I used them
without problems, but now it does the same as the latest version.
The PC configuration was the same, I did not change any components.

Hi SteamyTWonder,
Thank you for reaching out to the Intel Community Forum. To assist us in investigating the issue, please provide the following details:
- What specific error messages or codes do you see when XTU fails to start initially?
- Can you share the Windows Event Viewer logs from around the time of these crashes?
- Are you running XTU as administrator, and have you tried compatibility mode?
- How long were you successfully using the older XTU versions before this problem began?
Additionally, it would be very helpful if you could provide an Intel® System Support Utility (SSU) log file to better understand your system configuration.
To generate the log file:
- Download the Intel® SSU from this link: Intel® System Support Utility for Windows*
- Launch the application and select the checkbox for “Everything”
- Click Scan
- When the scan completes, click Next, then Save
- Attach and send the saved file with your response
If you have any questions, please let us know. Thank you.
Best regards,
Patrick V.
