I have a Dell Precision with two Xeon L5520 processor running Windows Server 2012.

The processors are shown as it does not support Virtualization or EPT which it is suppose to.

Any idea on how to get it working so I can use RemoteFX?

For the BIOS,

XD bit is enabled

Virtualization is enabled

Vt-d is tested both enabled and disabled

Trusted Platform disabled or off

Intel Processor Identification shows:

Virtualization Technology: no

Intel Advanced Vector Extensions: no

Intel AES New Instruction: no

Intel VT-x with Extended Page Table: no

With Coreinfo.exe -v it shows:

Intel(R) Xeon(R) CPU L5520 @ 2.27GHz

Intel64 Family 6 Model 26 Stepping 5, GenuineIntel

HYPERVISOR * Hypervisor is presentVMX - Supports Intel hardware-assisted virtualizationEPT - Supports Intel extended page tables (SLAT)

Hi John TSai,

Both the processor and the operating system supports Virtualization, so our best recommendation is to contact Dell to double check if it supports that technology as well.
