Hi guys!

My excuses for the weird username.

I'm looking for some good advice on what will be the best processor for my desktop for running virtual box images (linux with application servers/databases mostly oracle software) and in my host os (windows 7) i will also be running application servers/databases (mostly oracle software).

I did some compare on the processors

I'm not sure if these are the most important difference to look at, but was hoping any of you can give me some good advice.

Thanks!

I would suggest the i7-2600 since it includes both Intel® Virtualization Technology (VT-x) and (VT-d)
