Bonjour,
Merci.

Hello,
For some time now, and for no apparent reason, my MSI Modern A10M PC has started to slow down even for the slightest task (opening a folder, using a browser, moving a window, etc.), causing lag.
After trying several checks and optimizations, I realized that my Core i7-10710U processor is running at a very low speed, most of the time at 0.40 GHz!
I haven't flashed the BIOS yet, but nothing I've tried has improved the situation (updating drivers, optimizing the power supply, disabling startup programs, antivirus, etc.).
What can you recommend?
Thank you.

I'm sorry to hear about the issue that you are facing at the moment. For me to investigate the root cause, please share more information below.
1. Are there any recent changes to the system?
2. Which software are you using to monitor the CPU performance?
3. Have you reached out to the OEM about this issue?
Additionally, to have a better understanding of your system configuration and components please generate System Support Utility (SSU) report. Please follow instructions here and send the report - How to get the Intel® System Support Utility Logs on Windows*

Hello Jed G,
Thank you for the answer.
I haven't made any specific changes to the system. I'm monitoring performance with Windows Task Manager. I'm waiting for a response from MSI customer service. I thought you might be able to answer my question regarding the processor.
Best regards.
