help required with i5 processors

hey, i am planning to purchase a dell xps laptop with intel i5- 480m processor. the problem is that this processor is not listed on intel website. i want your reviews of this processor. also, should i wait for next(2nd) generation intel processor?2nd generation processors are coming out in february. is it worth the wait?

Here is a link to the 480M processor. The next generation of i5 cpu are already out, I just purchased a new one on newegg.com. Hope this will help.
