how can we make full use of dual processor

Are both the processors of a pentium D used? what settings or optimisations are required to exploit both the processors.

The usage of the cores is determined by the operating system and the running applications, so I would recommend installing the latest updates for your operating system as well as the updates for any running application.

For further information on using the cores of a processor I would recommend contacting the operating system developer.
