i5 3570 vs i7 3770k ( Is my upgrade worth it?)

Hey Guys,

 

I just ordered an i7-3770k as an upgrade for my i5 3570, my current cpu (the i5) struggles with recording games (specifically r6) and my GPU is an rx 580. Is the i7 going to be better for recording and such? Sorry if my English seems broken.

But.... Did you check with the motherboard manufacturer to determine if the new processor is compatible with their bios? If not compatible, you will be returning the new processor.
