i5-3570K Ivy Bridge and DDR3 1600 XMP Memory

I've got an i5-3570K Ivy Bridge 3.4GHz processor installed with 2X CORSAIR Vengeance 8GB 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600 Model CMZ8GX3M1A1600C9. The processor is listed as compatible with the board and I believe the memory should be compatible, it's listed as Timing 9-9-9-24, Cas Latency 9, and Voltage 1.5V, Intel XMP (Extreme Memory Profile) Support Version 1.3. But, I'm not booting, the board has power and the fans are spinning but there are no beep error codes to troubleshoot with. This is my first build in quite a while and I'm kind of stuck right now, does anyone see any compatibility problems with the memory or if someone could help me troubleshoot I would really really appreciate it. Thanks.

We must know what board you have, so we can check the memory compatibility list. Mother boards have become very picky now about what memory they will use, and "1155 compatible" does not guarantee it will work.

When you say you are not booting, are you really not POSTing, or able to get into the BIOS/UEFI?

Sorry about that, the board is the Intel DH77EB. Concerning not being able to boot, although the board is getting power it's not POSTing, there are no beep error codes and no video. Thanks.

If you are only using two Ram sticks you have to use slot # one and slot # two , any other config. will not work .
