Current setup is
Processor- i7 14700k
Mother board- ASUS ROG Strix B760-F Gaming Wifi
Bios version- 1820
Water cooling- Corsair iCUE H100i RGB Elite AIO
Ram- 32gb Corsair DDR5 Vengeance RGB
Graphics card- ASUS TUF RTX 4070 ti
Power supply - 850w Corsair series RM850x
Storage - 2TB corsair MP600
So i've had issues in the past with games hitting 100c on the CPU then crashing the game. But the Bios update to a 1820 last year mostly stopped that from happening. Some times my CPU now would hit 100c for a split second then dial back but very rarely and it would never linger around those temps since doing the bios update. How ever Hunt showdown had a recent update the other day and after about 25-30 minutes which i've tested multiple times. The CPU temp will go from 60-70c in menu and 70-80c during gameplay to now 80-93c in game and in main menu. It doesn't seem to go down unless i close the game and restart it and then the same process happens again.
I understand this could be an issue with the game, but i also don't want to risk shortening my CPU's life span letting it run at that temp for long periods.
My question is how can i go about this? I know i could switch to a 360mm or 420mm water cooler but that requires buying a new case as my current case can't fit one. Before i do that i dunno if that would solve the issue as such here? I'm willing to explore Undervolting and stuff around that area in the BIOS but i'm not 100% sure what i'm aiming to do especially since the bios version i'm using has apparently changed its microcode which makes it harder to do? If thats not the right action to take, what is? How do i check my motherboard is running the CPU at the right settings?
Any pointers in the right direction would be really appreicated.

Images attached are to show the max i hit during the issue. The screen shots where taking when the game was close which is why they are lower just to clarify.
I did think maybe my thermal paste was drying up but i've no solid proof thats the issue here.
