I was searching for new cpu and found at local retailer two i7-2600k cpus with different codes:

BX80623I72600K BX623I72600KSR00C

whats the difference?

what the hell is BX623I72600KSR00C? cuz intel only lists "BX80623I72600K" as Boxed Intel® Core™ i7-2600K Processor (8M Cache, 3.40 GHz) FC-LGA10 ordering code!

It seems to be the same processor, but in order for you not to have confusions I would suggest buying the one with box order code: BX80623I72600K
