I assembled my PC with an i9-14900KS. I use the system for AI computing and it is running Debian 11 for an operating system. Whenever the computer is doing something processor intensive, I hear the fans ramp up. Sometimes the operation will complete, but most of the time the system freezes where the only recovery is the power reset button. The freeze does not always happen at the same time in a specific operation. It happens in seemingly random operations, but always when the fans are ramped up.
I just tried swapping the memory, and the problem persists. I recently read about stability problems with these processors and am now assuming this is my issue. I am running new firmware on my Asus motherboard which has a setting called "Intel Baseline Profile". This setting has remained active and I am still having stability issues. What can I do about this?
