Motherboard: asus rog maximus z790 hero
ram: g skill 32 gb ddr5 2400 mhz x2
NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4060

Whenever i open unreal engine games like cod they either crash on startup or shortly after. Also apps like discord will randomly crash and my google tabs will randomly crash too. I tried to download ietu to fix it but whenever i try to open it it just freezes on the startup screen. My pc will also randomly blue screen and restart out of nowhere. I already tried updating and resetting bios but the same thing just kept happening.

Hi roolxr,
Thanks for posting in the community, to further investigate this situation I would like to ask you some question with regards to your issue. Please see the following questions below:
- What other troubleshooting steps have you done? This way I can eliminate the things that you have already done
- Can you confirm if you are currently enable the Intel Default Setting?
- Are you version 2801 of your bios?
- Can you share the power scheme that you are using on your system (Power saver, Balanced, High Performance, Ultimate Performance)
- If you have did swapped testing using an identical or compatible, motherboard or processor. Can you share me the exact model of the processor?
- Is your system newly built or not?
- Is there any signs of physical damage on your processor? Or have you delidded it?
- Did you try overclocking your processor, might be on the bios or in application? If you did in an application can you tell me the name of it? Please note that if the system was overclocked, including voltage/frequency beyond the processor supported specifications, your processor voids warranty.
Your detailed responses will help us resolve the issue more efficiently. Thank you for your cooperation, and I look forward to your reply.
Best regards,
Dhanniel M.

I havent tried anything to fix it yet, im on the intel default setting and im on 2801 of bios, im using a custom power plan thats optimized for preformance. The processor is the intel core i9 14900k 3200 mhz 24 core. When i first built the system both the motherboard and the cpu were faulty so they were replaced. Its not newly built its about a year old. theres no signs of damage and its never been touched aside from being put into the system and its never been overclocked. im also not able to open intel xtu it just freezes whenever i try to open it

Hi roolxr,
I see, thanks for sharing this with me. I have a recommendation that I want you to try. First, could you try running the Intel Processor Diagnostic Tool (IPDT)? This application will help test the CPU's capabilities and features. It will run a series of tests, including a stress test on the CPU. After that, could you send a screenshot of the results from the application?
Additionally, could you try disabling "Turbo Boost" in the BIOS after using the IPDT? Then, please inform me of the outcome after doing these steps.
Best regards,

Good Evening,
Constant crashing sounds like a memory issue. And seeing that you have a 2400mhz of ram, I'd start off there. The i9 is a very powerful processor, and in mechanical terms, if you couple a power engine with a weak transmission, you're going to bind up your driveline.
But first, let me start off by saying I do not know your skill level and I apologize if I might seem dumb.
Did you install all these drivers manually from the ROG site? All those Intel drivers are the most important, you have to select all to see them and make sure you install the latest of each suite. I dont know why they included old versions of the same thing lol.:

Did you install all these as well? I know you mentioned you have the latest Bios but if you scroll down there might be some that you missed.:

There can be many things here including bios settings itself.
Do you have XTU installed? Do you have Intel Graphics Software and Intel Driver Support Agent installed?
Let me know what you think,
~Michael
