Adolf is right, but if you encounter a bad will person at the manufacturer, and a slow response, you can verify it your self. Download a program (freeware) like cpu id, where at the mainboard you will have the model used (the notebooks don`t highlight ever the mainboard used) and google it. You will sure find details of what socket and processors can sustain. Good luck. You can also use wikipedia for intel processors.
